Traduction-Québec was commissioned to carry out a specialized legal translation for an arbitration case in the pork industry. Although a one-off project, it turned out to be complex, involving a highly technical, legally binding and strategically important document. In 2019, the Régie des marchés agricoles et alimentaires du Québec entrusted Traduction-Québec with the specialized legal translation of an arbitration decision. The document, which exceeded 30,000 words, established the rules for pork marketing for the 2019–2022 period. It also defined the contractual terms between producers and buyers, all within a tightly regulated framework.

Because some of the stakeholders were unilingual English speakers, the text had to be entirely clear and understandable. That’s why the Régie chose our team, known for delivering faithful, precise and readable legal translations.
